Print quality- Text printing is great, with text being clear. However there are few flaws in general with quick production. Picture and graphics printing is also above standard when compared to printers in same price range. If you are satisfied with amazing print quality at home or in your office, the printer will suit you well. The printer reaches 22 ppm text and 5 ppm picture printing easily at 1200 resolutions. A major advantage to the printer is the warm-up time of more than 60 secs for text and even longer for colour printing.
Control Panel- If you are a new user or a little technologically challenged you are going to have little problems navigating through the controls and LCD menu. The control panel is plain and the screen is easy to read. Be wary, if changes are not proper locked into the system menu, default setting will be reverted to.
Paper compatibility- The printer is not fussy at all in terms of paper sizes and types. All standard sizes and types are accepted including A4, legal, card and envelopes. A maximum of 350 pages can be loaded into the tray at a time. The printers’ duty cycle is a very impressive 35000 pages per month.
Cons- The biggest con to the printer must be the toner waste bin. The bin requires replacement or bin sensor cleaning when error messages appear indicating bin replacement. The bin should be replaced if necessary, as they are not re-usable. Bin re-use or emptying can lead to printer damage.
Modern interfacing- Interface options on the printer are modern including both USB and Ethernet connections.
